3D Imaging Technologist I

Long-Term Assignment (approximately 13 weeks)
Job Summary
Perform X-ray exams as ordered by urgent care providers, assist with front office and back office clinical activities, and support minor surgical procedures under provider direction. Provide expedited patient care in a high-volume urgent care setting.
Key Responsibilities
Front Office Duties:
- Open and close center using daily checklists
- Greet and assist patients and guests professionally
- Register patients in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Process payments for services
Back Office Clinical Duties:
- Room and triage patients
- Document symptoms, history, chief complaint, vital signs, and other clinical information in EMR
- Collect and process patient specimens for point-of-care tests and lab sends (e.g., rapid strep, flu, pregnancy tests, urine drug screening)
- Assist with minor surgical procedures under licensed provider supervision
Radiologic Technologist Duties:
- Prepare radiology suite, equipment, and materials
- Prepare adult and pediatric patients for X-ray studies, capture images, and document in EMR
- Clean and stage exam and procedure suites between patients
- Monitor receipt and availability of X-ray images and results
- Restock supplies and assist with training new employees
- Perform other assigned duties
Required Qualifications
- Valid Radiology Technician license in Massachusetts
- ARRT certification/license
- BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of Radiology Technician experience, including experience within the last year

- Effective communication, multitasking, prioritization, and problem-solving abilities
- Fluent in English (speaking and writing)
- Proficient with technology, including EMR systems (EPIC preferred) and Microsoft Office products
- Ability to work well in a team environment

10:00 AM – 8:00 PM
Health and Compliance Requirements
- Documentation of immunity or vaccination for MMR (measles, mumps, rubella) required
- TB screening documentation within 3 months of start date, updated if break >6 months
- Physician health statement within 1 year of start date, updated if break >6 months
- Criminal background check, education verification, references, and other professional clearances required prior to onboarding
- Hepatitis B vaccination or immunity strongly preferred
- Additional immunizations such as Tdap preferred
