Registered Nurse (RN) - Rehabilitation

Location

• Chesterfield, Missouri

Employment Type

• Travel contract
• Contract length: 13 weeks

Unit and Patient Population

• Rehabilitation unit with 81 private rooms
• Adult patients (18+ years)
• Patient ratios approximately 1:6-7 during the day and 1:8 at night
• Each nurse is supported by a dedicated technician
• Float within 5 hospital units: Stroke, Comprehensive, Medically Complex, Brain Injury, Spinal Cord Injury

Schedule

• Shift: 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM
• Approximately 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend required

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Missouri
• Minimum 2 years of rehabilitation nursing experience, including experience within the last year
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse (CRRN) preferred

Work Environment and Equipment

• Electronic Health Record system: Epic
• Black scrubs required; agency ID badge must be worn
• Parking available in garage (upper level or back two rows of lower level)

Additional Information

• Focus on inpatient rehabilitation for patients recovering from strokes, brain/spinal cord injuries, amputations, trauma, cancer, complex orthopedic injuries, and other conditions
• Multidisciplinary team approach emphasizing physical, emotional, and psychological recovery
• Facilities include specialized units, therapy gyms with high-tech devices, patient lifts, and a healing garden
• Flexible, collaborative, and positive demeanor preferred
