Job Description

• Infusion RN role requiring specific infusion center experience (beyond general oncology).
• Must hold current California RN license.
• Must have Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) chemotherapy/biotherapy certification (valid for 2 years).
• Work schedule: 4 days per week, 9-hour shifts (typically 08:00–17:30 or 09:00–18:00), including every other weekend.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in California.
• Minimum of 1 year infusion experience, with infusion experience within the last year.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).

Background and Compliance Requirements

• 7-year background check including SSN trace with all aliases, county searches, nationwide sex offender search, education verification, and FACIS Level 3 screening.
• Annual updates required for EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG, and FACIS screenings.
• Drug screening: Negative 9-panel drug screen within 6 months of start (excluding marijuana/cannabinoids per California law).
• Education verification with official transcripts/diplomas or attestation if verification attempts fail.
• Employment application must include full 7 years of work history with no gaps; employment verification required.
• Professional references: 2 clinical or allied professional references within 3 years.

Health and Immunization Requirements

• Physical exam within 1 year of start, cleared for work.
• Fit mask test within 1 year, renewed annually (exceptions apply).
• Immunizations and/or titers required:

  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within 10 years)
  • Negative TB test (QGold or TSPOT within 90 days) or 2-step PPD
  • Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella (MMR) immunity or vaccination series
  • Hepatitis B series or signed declination
  • Varicella immunity or vaccination series
  • Seasonal flu vaccination during flu season (Nov 1–Apr 30) or signed declination
• Drug testing and respiratory safety clearance required prior to start.

Shift Details

• Day shift, 4 days per week, 9 hours per day (typically 08:00–17:30 or 09:00–18:00).
• Every other weekend required.

Additional Notes

• Candidate must review and sign facility-specific documents including job description, standards of business conduct, code of conduct, vendor training, and regulatory orientation prior to start.
• Religious exemptions for facial hair (PAPR) and certain vaccines may be requested and require approval.
• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position.
