CT Tech Travel Opportunity

Location: Myrtle Beach, South Carolina
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Unit Information

  • Work in a free-standing Emergency Department (ED) with no outpatient or inpatient imaging.
  • Staffing: 1 CT/Radiology Tech per shift.
  • Shifts available: Day and Night.
  • Patient volume: Approximately 10-20 CT radiology exams per shift.
  • Equipment used: GE 64 Slice CT, GE Digital X-ray, GE portable x-ray.
  • Documentation system: Meditech.
  • Call requirement: 2 call shifts per month.
  • Dress code: Charcoal grey scrubs.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid CT Technologist license in South Carolina
  • CT Technologist with at least 1 year of experience
  • CT Technologist experience within the last year

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform routine CT and diagnostic X-ray procedures in a small, fast-paced free-standing ED setting.
  • Must be proficient in both CT and diagnostic radiology procedures.

Work Environment

  • Fast-paced and team-oriented unit where staff support each other.
  • Opportunity to work independently while being part of a collaborative team.

  • The area enjoys approximately 215 sunny days per year, ideal for outdoor living.
