CT Tech - Radiology (Travel Position)

Location: Myrtle Beach, South Carolina
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Facility & Unit Overview

• Acute-care hospital with 345 beds.
• Level I Adult and Level II Pediatric Trauma Centers.
• Joint Commission accredited; ACR accredited in CT, MRI, US, NM, and Mammography.
• Performs an average of 180 CT exams per day using GE 512, GE 128, and GE 32 slice scanners.
• Unit staffing: 2 techs per scanner during the day; 3 techs overnight.
• Patient focus: Emergency Department (ED) and Inpatient (IP) only, with a compassionate care model.
• Procedures include routine CT exams such as trauma pan scans, head, neck, chest, abdomen, pelvis, extremities, and CT angiography (CTA).
• Documentation system: Meditech.
• Dress code: Charcoal grey uniform.

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in South Carolina
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist, including experience within the last year
• ARRT certification
• BLS certification

Work Schedule & Hours

• 36 hours per week.
• Travel assignment with a 13-week contract length.
