Description
CT Tech - Radiology (Travel Position)
Location: Myrtle Beach, South Carolina
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Facility & Unit Overview
- Acute-care hospital with 345 beds.
- Level I Adult and Level II Pediatric Trauma Centers.
- Joint Commission accredited; ACR accredited in CT, MRI, US, NM, and Mammography.
- Performs an average of 180 CT exams per day using GE 512, GE 128, and GE 32 slice scanners.
- Unit staffing: 2 techs per scanner during the day; 3 techs overnight.
- Patient focus: Emergency Department (ED) and Inpatient (IP) only, with a compassionate care model.
- Procedures include routine CT exams such as trauma pan scans, head, neck, chest, abdomen, pelvis, extremities, and CT angiography (CTA).
- Documentation system: Meditech.
- Dress code: Charcoal grey uniform.
Required Qualifications
- Valid CT Technologist license in South Carolina
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist, including experience within the last year
- ARRT certification
- BLS certification
Work Schedule & Hours
- 36 hours per week.
- Travel assignment with a 13-week contract length.
