Description
Physical Therapist (PT) - Travel Position
Location
- Florida, Aventura
Employment Type
- Travel contract
- Contract length: 12 weeks
Unit Information
- Unit: Physical Therapy
- Number of beds: 467 (including a new 26-bed Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility)
- Staff: Approximately 40 Physical Therapists
- Shift: Day shift only (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM or 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM)
- Patient ratio: 1:1
- Call requirements: Rotating weekends
- Documentation system: Meditech
- Equipment used: treadmill, car simulators, RT300, Bioness systems, BITS
Typical Procedures
- 1.5 hour long treatment sessions
- Attending team conferences
Required Qualifications
- Valid Physical Therapist license in Florida
- Physical Therapist with 2 years of experience
- Physical Therapist experience within the last year
- BLS certification
- De-escalation skills in a healthcare setting
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility (IRF) or Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced unit and function independently
Work Hours
- Approximately 36 hours per week
