X-Ray Technologist

Location: Florence, South Carolina
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (13 weeks)
Shift: 8:30 PM – 7:00 AM

Job Description

• Perform all radiographic examinations and properly position patients.
• Operate and be familiar with all radiographic equipment at any time.
• Provide high-quality diagnostic images for radiologist interpretation.
• Maintain responsible patient care, supplies, and equipment maintenance.
• Exhibit professionalism and excellent customer relations with patients, visitors, physicians, and co-workers.
• Comply with all policies to deliver the highest quality of service.
• Participate in continuing education and in-services to develop professionalism.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Radiology Technologist license in South Carolina
• Radiology Technologist with at least 1 year of experience, including experience within the last year
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
• ARRT or NMTCB certification
• CBSPD or NBSTSA certification
• SCRQSA certification
• Experience as an X-Ray Technician

Health and Immunization Requirements

• Proof of MMR immunizations (2 doses) or titer with lab report (no declinations accepted).
• Proof of Hepatitis B vaccination series (3 doses) or titer with lab report (no declinations accepted).
• Proof of Varicella immunizations (2 doses) or titer with lab report (no declinations accepted).
• 2-step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot) testing completed within required timeframes; negative results required.
• Influenza vaccine required during September through April (medical/religious exemptions considered case-by-case with physician or signed statement).
• Fit test for respirator use required within one year of start (optional for travelers).
• COVID-19 vaccination card showing fully vaccinated status is optional but recommended.
• COVID test optional.
