Job Opportunity: Technologist (Radiologic Technologist - X-Ray)
Location: Petoskey, Michigan
Employment Type: Temporary
Shift: Nights
Hours per Day: 12
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Summary
Perform a variety of imaging procedures at a technical level under general supervision. Responsibilities include:
- Operating and maintaining imaging equipment, primarily X-ray machines.
- Positioning patients and capturing images as ordered by physicians.
- Providing clear explanations and instructions to patients to ensure comfort and meet individual needs.
- Accurately performing imaging exams in compliance with policies, procedures, regulations, and laws.
- Notifying the physician on duty of exam results.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience with X-ray imaging.
- Prior travel experience is required.
- Valid Michigan Radiologic Technologist license.
- Ability to work night shifts with 12-hour shifts.
- Must adhere to dress code: matching scrubs.
Additional Information
- A skills checklist completed within one year is preferred but not required for this role.
- Physical copies of certifications are only required if specifically listed.
- Candidates residing within 35 miles of the facility are considered local travelers.
- Nonbillable initial hours and specific overtime/holiday policies apply (details available upon request).
This position offers the opportunity to work in a regional hospital serving a broad area with a focus on comprehensive care including cardiology, cancer, orthopedics, and neurosciences.
