ICU Registered Nurse - Travel/Contract
Location: Odessa, Texas
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details
- Specialty: ICU (Intensive Care Unit)
- Facility Type: Long-Term Acute Care Hospital (LTACH)
- Shift: Night shift, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
- Weekend Scheduling: Every other weekend (EOW)
- Care Level: ICU and Intermediate Care (IMC) level care
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas
- Minimum 2 years of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) nursing experience, including experience within the last year
- Certifications:
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) issued by American Red Cross or American Heart Association
- BLS (Basic Life Support) issued by American Red Cross or American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Experience in Intermediate Care (IMC)
Additional Information
- First-time travel nurses are allowed to apply
- Local assignment with same pay as travel
- Candidate must complete facility-specific agreements and orientation documents prior to start, including confidentiality, COVID education, hospital orientation, and computer/email usage agreements
- Performance evaluations required if previously worked with the agency over 1 year; internal evaluations if over 2 years
This position offers an opportunity to work in a specialized ICU setting within a LTACH facility on a night shift schedule, requiring strong critical care skills and certifications.
