Description
Cardiac Cath Lab Tech - Travel Position
Location: Lone Tree, Colorado
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift, approximately 6:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Hours per Week: 36
Unit Information
- Cath Lab with 2 cath suites equipped with Philips equipment
- Hospital size: 272 beds
- Staff: 5 Techs and 6 RNs total; day shift typically 3-5 Techs and 2-4 RNs
- Night shift staff are on call
- EMR systems used: Meditech and Mac Lab
- Typical procedures: Basic Cath Lab skills including scrubbing and monitoring, conscious and moderate sedation
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a Cath Lab Radiology Technologist in an acute care setting
- Current Cath Lab Tech Certification
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Experience as a Cath Lab Technologist
- Ability to respond to on-call duties approximately 7-8 days per month, including one weekend
- On-call response time within 30 minutes
Preferred Qualifications
- ARRT (R) or RCIS certification
- Experience with EP scrubbing
- Prior experience with Meditech EMR
