Description
Job Opportunity: Technologist - Cath Lab (Days)
Location
- Des Moines, Iowa
Employment Type
- Temporary contract
- Contract length: 13 weeks
Work Schedule
- Day shift
- Required to work 1-2 of 3 upcoming summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day) unless the unit is closed
- Must be willing to float across multiple campuses within Des Moines to like units
- Willingness to take call required
Job Description
- Must be able to scrub independently and proficiently (highly preferred)
- Expected to float across all Des Moines campuses as needed
- Orientation dates available; priority given to earliest date
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 24 months of experience in Cath Lab / Cardiac Cath Lab
- Active ARRT or CCI/RCIS certification
- Travel experience within the previous 18 months is required
- Valid driver’s license
- Skills checklist specific to Cath Lab discipline
- Professional reference or performance evaluation within the last 24 months (preferred)
Preferred Qualifications
- Structural heart experience
- Interventional Radiology experience
- Electrophysiology (EP) experience
- Peripheral vascular experience
Additional Information
- Must comply with employee separation policy regarding prior employment and travel assignments
- Experience and certifications must be documented and verifiable
