Description
CT Tech - Radiology (Travel Position)
Location: Laredo, Texas
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 7 PM – 7 AM
Hours per Week: 36
Schedule Notes: Floating required, call required, block scheduling possible
Job Description
- Provide timely diagnostic CT services to inpatients and outpatients under Radiologist direction and departmental protocols.
- Perform basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, and OR imaging services.
- Conduct routine diagnostic CT scans including head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, extremities, and biopsy/drainage procedures.
- Demonstrate knowledge of CT system processing, surgical/sterile procedures, studies with or without contrast media, and cross-sectional anatomy.
Required Qualifications
- Valid CT Technologist license in Texas (MRT/TMB).
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT).
- Current BLS certification.
- Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year.
Additional Information
- Facility has 9 beds.
- Travelers must provide permanent home address and social security number upon submission.
- Candidates missing required documentation or information will be rejected.
