Job Summary
- Provide nursing care following South Carolina Nurse Practice Act standards.
- Apply professional nursing theory and practice to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Frequent interaction with patients, families, physicians, employees, and visitors.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, crouching, stooping.
- Frequent lifting/moving patients; intermittent lifting or pushing up to 50 lbs.
- Frequent use of hand/finger dexterity and constant reaching.
- Frequent talking and hearing; corrected hearing and vision required.
- Exposure to blood, body fluids, infectious materials, communicable diseases, and blood-borne pathogens.
- Moderate noise level.
- Work under stressful conditions, deadlines, irregular hours.
- May require call duty and weekend/holiday work based on department needs.
Shift Details
- Hours: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- Includes 1 weekday call and weekend call every 6 weeks
- Note: This is an Interventional Radiology RN position, NOT ICU/Critical Care despite the job title. ICU nurse applicants should not apply.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license in South Carolina.
- BSN preferred or required within five years of hire (exceptions apply for internal transfers within the same department).
- Knowledge of professional nursing theory and practice.
- Ability to apply critical thinking, communicate clearly, and react calmly in emergencies.
- Skill in patient care, problem identification, record keeping, and maintaining effective working relationships.

- Knowledge of organizational policies and safety precautions.
- Ability to establish a safe work environment.
- Ability to analyze situations and recommend solutions.
