Description
Job Opportunity: CT Tech
Location: Oxford, North Carolina
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift, Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM – 2:30 PM (40 hours/week)
Job Requirements
- Valid CT Technologist license in North Carolina
- Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience
- CT Technologist experience within the last year
Certifications & Competencies
- Required Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support) – AHA or ARC preferred
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) – Required prior to start; must be maintained throughout assignment
- Competency Exams: Medication/Pharmacology competency and other required competency exams as applicable
Background & Compliance
- 7-year criminal background check covering all locations lived/worked in the past 7 years, updated annually
- EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required within 30 days of start and updated for contract renewals
- Education verification required (diploma acceptable if education cannot be verified)
- Proof of 2 clinical references or hospital evaluations
- Employment application/resume required
- Skills checklist for applicable unit, updated annually
Health & Immunization Requirements
- Initial physical exam, updated annually, confirming ability to meet physical demands
- Negative TB test (PPD, QGOLD, or TSPOT) within 6 months prior to start; annual TB questionnaire if past positive
- Immunizations or proof of immunity (titer) or declination for:
- Rubeola (Measles)
- Mumps
- Rubella
- Hepatitis B
- Varicella
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap vaccine within 10 years of start (declination acceptable)
- Seasonal flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required during flu season (September 18 – March 31)
- 9-panel drug screen within the last 12 months (instant acceptable)
Additional Requirements
- Government-issued photo ID must be carried during hours of service
- I9 attestation and proof of E-Verify compliance required
- Facility-specific online training modules must be completed prior to start
- Orientation safety manual acknowledgement and HIPAA compliance required
Work Schedule
- Monday through Friday
- 8-hour shifts, 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM
This position offers a travel contract opportunity for a CT Technologist with at least 2 years of experience in Radiology/Cardiology, requiring standard certifications and compliance with health and background checks.
