Description
Registered Nurse (Medical Surgical - Oncology)
Location: Terre Haute, Indiana
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details
- Unit: Medical Oncology / Medical Surgical (mixed unit)
- Shift: Nights
- Hours: 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week
- Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:5 or 1:6
- Weekend Requirement: 4 weekend shifts per schedule (night shift includes 1 Sunday per schedule)
- Floating: Required to float within scope, including an 8-bed Prison unit
- Scrub Color: Navy blue required
Required Qualifications
- License: Registered Nurse (RN)
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support)
- Experience: Competent, reliable, team player, flexible
- Prior travel experience: Not required; first-time travelers accepted
Additional Information
- Candidates must be 100% committed and ready to start ASAP
- Radius rule: Candidates must be located 50-100 miles away; no candidates within 50 miles accepted
- Night shift schedule includes 3 consecutive 12-hour shifts
- Common patient types: General medical surgical patients with oncology focus
