Description
Cardiac Cath Lab Tech - Travel Position
Location: Lewiston, Maine
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM with call (weeknights and weekends)
Hours per Week: 36 (guaranteed)
Unit & Work Environment
- Department: Cardiovascular Invasive Services – Cath Lab
- Trauma Level: Level III
- Patient Population: Adult and geriatric
- Patient Load: Approximately 10 patients per day
- Equipment: GE X-RAY
- Electronic Health Record: Epic
- No block scheduling or float requirements
- Scrub color provided by facility
Required Qualifications
- Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Maine
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist, with experience within the last year
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) or RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist)
Job Role
- Primary role in the Cath Lab, with electrophysiology (EP) or endovascular (EV) experience considered a plus
- Call responsibilities required on weeknights and weekends
