Job Description

• Multispecialty ultrasound position requiring experience in:

  • General ultrasound
  • Fetal ultrasound
  • OB ultrasound
  • Breast ultrasound
  • Transvaginal ultrasound
  • Vascular ultrasound
  • Echocardiogram (adult echo, contrast echo, echo stress treadmill)
• No floating between units
• On-call required:

  • Monday to Friday: 5 PM - 8 AM
  • 24 hours on Saturday and Sunday
• Weekends required on-call
• Patient ratio: 8:1
• Facility type: Short Term Acute Care, Level IV Trauma Center
• Total staffed beds: 49

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist, with recent experience within the last year
• Experience as a Vascular Sonographer
• Experience in Fetal Echocardiography
• Experience as a Breast Sonographer
• Experience in Adult Echocardiography
• Experience as an OB Technician

Additional Requirements

• Photo for badge (passport style with neutral background) required prior to start
• Completion of annual regulatory and specialty-specific training modules via LMS (Workramp)
• On-call and weekend availability required
• Must comply with facility float policy acknowledgment (may be required to float to nearby facilities)

Work Environment

• Short Term Acute Care hospital with Level IV Trauma designation
• 49 staffed beds
• Patient ratio approximately 8:1
• On-call coverage includes nights and weekends
