Job Opportunity: Angiographer

Work Schedule
- Day shift, 10 hours per day, 40 hours per week
Job Summary
- Ensure proper patient identification and order verification.
- Prepare patients for exams using appropriate body mechanics.
- Identify proper exams based on patient needs and utilize correct exam techniques.
- Produce quality images by operating imaging equipment correctly.
- Complete all required documentation accurately, including time stamps and image storage.
- Maintain work area and stock necessary supplies.
- Transport patients as needed.
- Develop knowledge of invasive, diagnostic, and interventional supplies, including their indications, applications, and proper use.
- Apply closure devices, suture, or apply pressure to obtain hemostasis at the end of procedures.
- Understand and apply principles of x-ray generation and safety.
- Provide patient education and ensure patient comfort.
- Assist procedurally as circulating tech, scrub tech, or monitoring tech according to lab policies and scope of practice.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in Utah
- Minimum 1 year of Interventional Radiology Technologist experience within the last year
- ARRT or ARRT(R)(RT) or ARRT(R)(VI) certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
- High school diploma or General Education Development (GED)
