Description
Registered Nurse – Cardiac Cath Lab
Location: Saint Louis, Missouri
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days, 4x10 (06:30 AM – 05:00 PM)
Weekly Hours: 36 hours guaranteed
Weekend Hours: Every other weekend as required
Call Requirements: None
Job Description
- Provide direct patient care in the cardiac interventional cath lab for all age groups, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Circulate and monitor procedures in the cardiac cath lab.
- Coordinate patient care activities with ancillary departments to optimize patient comfort and care.
- Practice within the scope of nursing preparation and according to the Missouri Nurse Practice Act and facility standards.
- Work in a unit with 3 cath labs using EPIC EMR system.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Missouri
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Cardiac Cath Lab nursing, including experience within the last year
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
Preferred Qualifications
- 4 years of experience in Cardiac Invasive Cath Lab nursing.
Additional Information
- Facility provides scrub color; only facility-approved attire allowed.
- Flu vaccination or approved exemption required for all travelers from November 1 through April 1; declinations are not accepted.
- No prior travel experience requirement specified.

- Cardiac Cath Lab setting with specialized cardiac patients.
- Level 2 Trauma Center and Joint Commission-certified stroke and STEMI center.
- Advanced certifications in heart failure care.
