Registered Nurse (RN) – Med Surg (Nights)

Location: Rock Island, Illinois

Job Overview

• Provide professional and clinical nursing care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses.
• Must have a taxable address located more than 50 miles from the facility.
• Electronic Medical Record system used: EPIC.

Work Schedule & Requirements

• 36-40 hours per week, with overtime billable after 40 hours.
• Required to work 2 of 3 major winter holidays: Christmas, New Year’s, or Thanksgiving.
• Limit of 1 day off request allowed between 11/26/25–11/30/25 and 12/23/25–1/2/26 for all travelers regardless of holidays worked.
• Overtime, call back, on-call, charge, and precepting differentials apply (details available upon request).

Required Qualifications

• Current Illinois RN license and ability to apply for Iowa RN license.
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in the specialty.
• At least 1 prior travel nursing contract completed.
• Must provide:

  • Updated work history/resume.
  • Skills checklist completed within 1 year.
  • License verification.
  • Copies of required certifications.
  • One supervisory reference at time of submission.
  • Proof of taxable address (one of the following): driver’s license, utility bill, lease/rental agreement, mortgage statement, insurance statement, voter registration, bank statement, auto insurance, or tax return.

Additional Information

• Floating between facilities is expected.
• Night shift with 12-hour shifts.
