Registered Nurse - Post Anesthesia Care Unit (RN-PACU)
Location: San Diego, California
Employment Type: Travel Nursing (Clinical)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 12-hour Night Shifts
Hours per Week: 36 hours
Job Summary
Seeking an experienced RN for Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) with night shift coverage. The role involves caring for patients recovering from anesthesia, with a preference for candidates who have OB and Labor & Delivery experience due to the nature of night shifts involving vaginal and C-section deliveries.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in California
- Minimum of 2 years of PACU (Post Anesthesia Care) experience, including experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
Additional Information
- Night shifts typically include care for patients undergoing vaginal and C-section deliveries
- 12-hour shifts, primarily nights, with approximately 36 hours worked per week
This position is ideal for RNs with solid PACU experience who are comfortable working night shifts and have additional skills in OB/L&D nursing.
