Job Opportunity: CST/ORT - OR

Unit Information

Main Operating Room with 23 OR beds
Staff includes approximately 70 team members
Day shift staffing example: 1 charge, 3 RNs, 2 CNAs, 1-3 sitters
Patient ratio: 1:1
Equipment: Operating Room specialized equipment
Electronic Medical Record system: Meditech / CPN
Elective surgical cases only (no trauma)
Procedures include Orthopedics/Spine, Cardiovascular, Plastics, Gynecology, Robotics, and Urology
Teamwork-oriented environment with a focus on patient care
Call required with a maximum 30-minute response time

Required Qualifications

Valid Surgical Technologist license in Colorado
Surgical Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of experience, including experience within the last year
Certified Surgical Technician (CST) or National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTA) certification
Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA) certification
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Demonstrated knowledge or assessment of surgical technologist skills regarding the risks of hazardous drugs as defined by USP 800
