Description

Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical Surgical Acute Care with Telemetry

Location: Bluffton, Indiana
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
Hours per Week: 36

Job Description

Provide nursing care on a medical-surgical acute care unit with telemetry, progressive care, and swing bed responsibilities.
Unit size: 20 beds within a 40-licensed bed facility (including 10 swing beds).
Average daily census: 10 patients.
Patient ratios: 1:6 for acute care, 1:10 for swing beds.
No floating required.
Blocked scheduling is an option.
No on-call requirements.
Scrub color: Navy blue.
Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system: Cerner preferred.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Indiana.
Minimum 3 years of medical-surgical and telemetry nursing experience, including experience within the last year.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
