Description
Job Opportunity: CT Tech
Location: Anderson, South Carolina
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night shift, 3x12 hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), every other weekend
Hours per Week: 36 hours
Job Description
- Position requires CT experience; CT certification is not mandatory but ARRT certification is accepted.
- On-call duty is required.
- First-time travelers are accepted.
- Local candidates are accepted.
- Pending state license is accepted but must be obtained prior to starting.
Required Qualifications
- Valid CT Technologist license in South Carolina.
- Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience within the last year.
- ARRT certification required.
Certifications
- BLS (Basic Life Support) - ARC, AHA, or U.S. Department of Defense accepted; RQI certs allowed.
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - ARC, AHA, or U.S. Department of Defense accepted; RQI certs allowed.
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) as required.
- Preferred but not required: TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) for ER.
- Certifications must be renewed 15 days prior to expiration.
Health and Safety Requirements
- Physical exam within 1 year indicating good health.
- Annual fit mask test required (N95 or equivalent masks).
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within required timeframes.
- Required immunizations or titers: Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Hepatitis B.
- 9-panel drug screen within 90 days of start date.
- Seasonal flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required during flu season (Nov 1 - Apr 1). Unvaccinated candidates must wear masks onsite.
Background Checks
- 7-year criminal background check within 1 year of start, including all locations lived/worked.
- EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required within 30 days of start and updated for contract renewals.
- International background check required if lived outside the U.S. in the last 7 years.
- Instant state search acceptable in lieu of pending background check.
Additional Requirements
- Color blindness test (Ishihara) required.
- Photo for badge required (clear headshot, no visible nose piercing).
- Completion of online orientation and acknowledgment required prior to start.
- Stroke education and acknowledgment required if working at the facility for 1 year or longer.
- All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted with initial application; no changes accepted after.

- Performance evaluation or 2 professional references within 1 year of start date required if previously worked at the facility.
