    ICU RN (Night Shift) - California

    Position Details

    • Specialty: RN CVICU (Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit)
    • Location: Redding, California
    • Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
    • Shift: Night shift only (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
    • Contract Length: 13 weeks

    Required Qualifications

    • Valid RN license in California
    • Minimum 2 years of CVICU experience, including experience within the last year
    • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
    • ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience
    • ACLS certification
    • BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or Red Cross
    • DCI/BVP (Workplace Violence Prevention training)

    Health and Safety Requirements

    • COVID-19: Two vaccines plus booster or documented declination
    • Influenza vaccine or declination (required November 1 – March 31; declinations not accepted at this location)
    • Hepatitis B: Record of 3 immunizations, immune titer, or declination (declinations not accepted at this location)
    • MMR: Proof of 2 vaccines or positive titer showing immunity
    • Varicella: Vaccination or titer showing immunity
    • Tdap: Adult vaccination documentation required (declinations not accepted at this location)
    • TB Test: Within one year of start date
    • Drug Screening: Minimum 10-panel urine drug screen excluding THC plus psychoactive THC saliva test (California law compliant, within 60 days of start)
    • Annual physical/health statement confirming clearance to work (must be current within 60 days of start)

    Background and Compliance

    • National criminal background check within one year of start date
    • Prime OIG and SAM/EPLS exclusion checks completed prior to onboarding
    • Agency attestation for employment eligibility verification (Form I-9 accepted)
    • Badge photo: Clear JPEG headshot with plain background required for facility ID

    Documentation and References

    • Up-to-date resume reflecting recent work history (required at offer acceptance)
    • Two professional references required, including at least one from a manager or direct supervisor
    • Signed current job description (within the year)
    • Education verification: Copy of diploma or transcripts accepted if third-party verification unavailable
    • Sexual Harassment Prevention Training valid for 2 years (California-specific)

    Additional Notes

    • Name verification affidavit (notarized) recommended if there are discrepancies between credentials
    • Orientation packet including Essentials form and post-test available (optional upload)
    • Prior travel experience is not specified as required for this position
