Location
- Monroe, Michigan

Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Work Schedule
- Night shift, 3 shifts per week
- 12 hours per shift (7:00 PM to 7:30 AM)
- 36 hours per week
- Weekend coverage every fourth weekend

- May work in the Operating Room as needed (required)
Job Description
- Dual role requiring experience in both CT and X-Ray
- Preparation and/or administration of contrast media
- Imaging required includes:
- Abdomen and Pelvis (with and/or without contrast)
- Head (with and/or without contrast)
- X-Ray experience required
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
- ARRT certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Experience working in Acute Care and Outpatient settings
- X-Ray Technician experience
- Experience with Epic
Background and Compliance Requirements
- 7-year background check within 12 months of start, updated annually
- EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required annually
- Education verification of highest level required
- Fingerprinting requirements vary by state and unit; Michigan uses MI LARA fingerprint results
- State-specific background checks as applicable
Certifications and Competencies
- Primary source verification of state license required
- Medication test/pharmacology competency exam as applicable
- Dysrhythmia/EKG competency exam required for RNs (not applicable here but noted for awareness)
- Other certifications (ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC, EFM, NIH Stroke, CPI) may be required depending on unit; verify with job description
- National tech certification verification as applicable
Health and Immunization Requirements
- Physical exam within last 12 months (latex-free PPE available)
- N95 fit test required within 12 months of start and annually; onsite exceptions possible with approval
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap vaccine within 10 years or declination accepted
- Negative TB test (PPD, QGold, or TSPOT) within 3 months of start, updated annually
- MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) immunity via positive titer, vaccination, or approved exemption
- Hepatitis B series, positive titer, or declination
- Varicella immunity via positive titer, vaccination, or approved exemption
- Negative 10-panel drug screen within 12 months of start (instant acceptable unless on prescription)
- Seasonal flu vaccination or approved exemption required during flu season (10/1 to 3/31)
Additional Requirements
- 2 professional references within 2 years of start; at least one from a leader (Charge RN or above)
- Skills checklist required for all candidates
- Compliance with dress code (review only)
