Job Opportunity: Outpatient Clinic Registered Nurse

Location: Santa Barbara, California
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift, 5 days per week, 8 hours per day (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)

Job Description

• Provide direct and indirect patient care in an outpatient clinic setting.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, develop and implement nursing care plans, and provide patient education.
• Deliver holistic, individualized care considering psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and lifestyle factors.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary care plans and maintain collaborative relationships with patients, families, physicians, and healthcare providers.
• Adhere to policies, industry standards, laws, and regulations to ensure a high-quality patient experience.
• Engage in continuous professional growth and development.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in California.
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
• Minimum of 1 year of clinic experience, with clinic experience within the last year.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.

Additional Requirements

• Must complete and sign facility-specific documents prior to start, including job description acknowledgment, standards of business conduct, regulatory orientation, vendor training, code of conduct, overpayment refund policy, and conditional offer of employment attestation.
• TB questionnaire signed by candidate and healthcare provider within 90 days of start, renewed annually.
• References: 2 professional references required within 3 years for clinical positions.
• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position.
