Description
CT Tech - Radiology (Travel Position)
Location: Maysville, Kentucky
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Weekly Hours: 36 hours guaranteed
Call: No call required; call available if interested
Job Summary
- Perform Computed Tomography (CT) and X-ray imaging independently.
- Work in the Radiology department using a GE CT scanner.
- Serve all patient populations.
- Utilize Meditech electronic health record system.
Required Qualifications
- Valid CT Technologist license in Kentucky
- Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
- Experience as an X-Ray Technician
- Associate degree or higher education in a relevant field
- ARRT certification
- BLS certification
Additional Information
- Must be able to perform both CT and X-ray procedures.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic preferred.
- No weekend hours specified.
- Department scrub color: Pewter Gray (required).
- Orientation occurs on the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month.
Work Environment
- Acute care, 100-bed facility.
- Radiology department within a Joint Commission accredited hospital.
- No trauma level specified.
- No float requirements beyond performing X-rays as needed.
