Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room (OR)

Location: Winchester, Virginia

Job Details

• Unit: Surgical Services (OR)
• Shift: Monday to Friday, 6:45 AM – 5:15 PM (4x10-hour shifts, days)
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• On-Call Requirements: 6-8 calls per month, may include weekends
• Float Requirements: None

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Virginia
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room (OR) nursing experience, including experience within the last year
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Required Certifications: ACLS and BLS issued by the American Heart Association
• Experience with Epic electronic medical records system
• Experience in Trauma, Orthopedics, Vascular Surgery, Women’s Services, Urology, Bariatrics, and Thoracic Surgery

Preferred Experience

• Experience with robotic surgery and various surgical specialties including General surgery

Work Environment

• Facility has 495 beds
• Dress Code: Blue scrubs required; other attire per facility dress code policy
