- Hours: 5 days per week, 8 hours per day (9:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
Job Description
- Acute Care Physical Therapy role
- Responsibilities include:
- Acute care patient management
- Home exercise programs
- Lifting and transfer techniques
- Patient and family education
- Experience with ER, ICU, geriatrics, medical-surgical, orthopedics
- Range of motion therapies (AROM/AAROM/PROM)
- Use of assistive devices (crutches, gait belt, hospital bed, standard walker)
- Pain assessment and management
- Skin integrity monitoring
- Strength testing and vital signs monitoring
- Discharge planning, evaluation, reassessments, and short-term goal setting
- Care for patients with COPD, CHF, CABG, MI, hip and knee injuries, total hip/knee replacements, post-stroke rehabilitation
- Gait training and mobility support

Required Qualifications
- Valid Physical Therapist license in California
- Minimum 1 year of Physical Therapist experience, including experience within the last year
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Additional Information
- Local radius for candidates is 50 miles (local candidates accepted)
- Facility may call off once per two-week pay period
- Open to accommodating block schedules at manager discretion
- Must comply with float policy; may be required to float to other nearby facilities
- Competency exams and medication/pharmacology competency required as applicable
- Epic training modules required for charting system access
- Fit mask testing required for travel candidates, updated annually
- WA and OR state-specific background and registry checks apply if applicable
