Description
Registered Nurse - Operating Room
Location: Fort Myers, Florida
Shift: 12-hour Days (Monday, Thursday, Friday, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM)
Hours per Week: 36 hours
Call: Required; 1 shift per week after scheduled day (2-4 hours) and 1-2 weekend 12-hour shifts per month
Job Description
- Work in Operating Room with strong focus on orthopedic, oncology, bariatrics, vascular, neuro, trauma, and robotics cases
- Must have experience with robotic surgery and ortho/neuro specialties
- Floating required; travelers are first to float and may float to other nearby campuses within a 50-mile radius
- Use of Epic EMR system
- Hospital provides scrubs
- Culture emphasizes integration of travelers as core staff members
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience
- Prior travel experience required
- Active Florida RN license or compact license at time of application
- BLS required; ACLS and PALS preferred
- Degree accreditation must be documented on profile or candidate must have at least 5 years of experience
