Registered Nurse - Emergency Department (Travel Assignment)
Location
- Salt Lake City, Utah
Assignment Details
- Travel position
- Contract length: 8 weeks
- Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Hours per week: 36
- Scheduling requirement: 4 weekend shifts per 4-week period
- Floating policy: Float only between main Emergency Department (ED) and Freestanding Emergency Departments (FSEDs)
- On-call: None
- Patient ratio: 4:1
- Unit type: Emergency Department with 32 main ED beds, 10 FSED beds, and 12 additional FSED beds
- Team nursing model with paramedics, EMTs, and dedicated unit secretary
- Documentation system: Epic
- Dress code: Caribbean Blue scrubs

- Chest tube insertion
- Central line management
Requirements/Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Utah
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience, including experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) certification
- Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) training
