Job Opportunity: Operating Room Registered Nurse
Location: Santa Rosa, California
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Acute Care Hospital setting with 277 staffed beds
- Must have experience in trauma, neuro, vascular, and orthopedic nursing due to trauma status
- May need to cover one night shift during the contract
- Shift: Day shift, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM)
- Weekend work required
- On-call required: approximately 6-8 shifts every 6 weeks, including nights, evenings, and weekends (8-hour shifts)
- Floating between like units required
- Variable start times available (7:00 AM or 9:00 AM)
- Use of Epic electronic charting system
- Free parking provided
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
- Minimum 2 years of Operating Room (OR) experience, including OR experience within the last year
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Experience in trauma, neurology, vascular surgery, and orthopedic nursing
