Job Opportunity: Technologist - X-Ray (Night Shift)

Job Description
- Operate conventional, fluoroscopic, and portable radiography equipment to obtain quality radiographic images.
- Position patients and adjust x-ray equipment settings for each examination.
- Assist physicians by mixing and preparing contrast media and supporting sterile procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 24 months of current Radiologic Technologist experience.
- Active Radiographer state license issued by the Maryland Board of Physicians (Maryland license required).
- Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- COVID-19 vaccination is mandatory; declinations are not accepted.
- Prior travel experience required (must have completed at least one prior travel contract).
Documentation Requirements
- Resume with explanations for any employment gaps over 30 days.
- Two supervisory references: one from the last 6 months and one from the last 12 months.
- Skills checklist specific to Radiologic Technologist discipline.
- Proof of active BLS certification.
- Proof of COVID-19 vaccination.
Additional Information
- Candidates may request time off equivalent to one week of contracted hours during the assignment.
- Overtime pay starts after 48 hours.
- The facility is a 257 licensed bed acute and sub-acute care hospital with a high volume of admissions and emergency visits.
- Orientation sessions are scheduled up to 6 weeks in advance.
