Description
X-ray Technologist
Location: Atlanta, Georgia
Shift: Monday to Friday, 11:00 PM – 9:30 AM (10-hour night shifts)
Contract Length: 6 weeks
Job Description
- Comfortable working in the Emergency Department (ED) and with portable X-ray equipment
- Willingness to learn pediatric and neonatal imaging
- Operate radiologic and fluoroscopic equipment
- Evaluate images for technical quality
- Assigned to a department by day but expected to float as needed
- Work with students and perform competency check-offs
- Mask fit required
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience at a Level 1 trauma center OR 2-3 years experience at a large bed Level 2 trauma facility
- Graduate of a JRCERT/ARRT approved radiologic technology program
- BLS certification
- ARRT certification
Systems and Equipment
- EMR systems: EPIC and Sectra
- Equipment brands: GE, Phillips, CareStream
