Occupational Therapist - Contract Position

Location: Benton, Illinois
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Four 10-hour shifts per week (36 hours total)
Schedule: 2 weekday shifts and 2 weekend shifts; flexible on shift if needed

Job Description

• Position involves rehabilitation therapy duties.
• Work setting includes various hospital departments with specific certification requirements (see Required Qualifications).

Required Qualifications

• Valid Rehabilitation Therapist license in Illinois
• Minimum of 2 years of Rehabilitation Therapist experience, including experience within the last year
• Occupational Therapist experience
• Certifications required depending on department assignment may include:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
  • TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
  • NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)

Additional Information

• No prior travel experience required.
• Flexible scheduling may be necessary to cover weekend shifts.

Note: Certifications required vary by hospital department and may be needed for emergency, ICU, PCU, acute rehab, medical, step down, and med/surg units.
