Description
Cardiac Cath Lab Tech
Location: Margate, Florida
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36
Unit Information
- Unit Type: Electrophysiology (EP) / Cardiac Catheterization Lab
- Number of Beds: 2 Cath labs, 1 EP lab
- Patient Ratios: 1:1 with 3 staff per room (4 staff for VT Ablation)
- Equipment Used: GE, ESI
- Documentation Systems: Meditech, MacLab
- Call Requirements: Four 10-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
Typical Procedures
- Pacemaker implantation (all types)
- Ablations (all types)
- Watchman device procedures
- Cryoablation
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab Radiology Technologist, including experience within the last year
- Experience as a Cath Lab Technologist and Electrophysiology Technician in an acute care setting
- Certifications:
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- Cath Lab Tech Certification
- Demonstrated de-escalation skills in a healthcare setting

- Dress Code: Facility-provided scrubs
- No specific prior travel experience required or preferred stated
This position is suited for healthcare professionals experienced in cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures, comfortable working in a fast-paced acute care environment with a focus on patient safety and teamwork.
