Description
Registered Nurse - Radiology (Travel)
Location
- Wichita, Kansas
- Unit: Vascular Radiology
- Floor: 1st floor, Main Entrance building
- Setting: Outpatient procedures with call requirements through the night
- Patient Ratios:
- 1:1 during procedures
- 3-4 patients in holding room depending on acuity
- Unit Size:
- 5 Bay holding room
- 3 room IR suite
- 3 room CT suite
- Staff: 5 nurses and 5 respiratory therapists
- Documentation: Maclab and paper charting
- EMR System: Meditech
Job Details
- Employment Type: Travel
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Hours per Week: 36
- Shift: Day shift 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM with call requirements at night
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kansas
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Minimum 1 year of Interventional Radiology experience within the last year
- Radiology experience in an acute care setting
- Current certifications: BLS and ACLS
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Meditech EMR
- Experience traveling to large trauma facilities

- Kyphoplasty
- Y-90 treatments
- Peripheral interventions
- Stroke and trauma cases
- Diagnostic cerebral cases
- Drain placements and biopsies
- Thrombolysis cases
- Neuro coiling cases

- Flexible with change and able to work across different radiology modalities throughout the day
