Description
Registered Nurse - Home Health
Location: Asheville, North Carolina (Franklin/Macon County area)
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36
Job Description
- Provide nursing care in a home health setting with patient visits in Franklin/Macon County.
- Call requirements: every 6-7 weeks for one week at night (5pm-8am) including that weekend. No night visits are made from the office.
- Patient load: approximately 5-6 patients per day.
- Documentation system used: HCHB.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, daytime hours.
- Uniform: Nursing scrubs in navy blue or navy/white.
- Reliable vehicle required for patient visits.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina.
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Home Health nursing, including experience within the last year.
- Experience in a Home Health setting and hospice care.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- HHCCA - De-escalation Skills in a Healthcare Setting.
