Description
CT Tech - Radiology (Travel Position)
Location: Asheville, North Carolina
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36
Unit Information
- Location: 2nd floor, A tower
- Number of Beds: 800
- Staff per Shift:
- Day: 5 Technologists + Supervisor
- Evening: 4-5 Technologists + Radiology Assistant
- Night: 2-3 Technologists + Radiology Assistant
- Equipment: GE Optima, 3 GE EVO, GE Revolution, Medrad Injectors
- EMR Systems: Cerner Rad Net, Phillips PACs
Job Responsibilities & Procedures
- Perform CT imaging including diagnostic scans and invasive procedures
- Imaging in emergency department trauma and stroke cases
- Typical procedures: Neuro, musculoskeletal (MSK), body imaging, invasive CT, cardiac imaging, pediatric imaging
Required Qualifications
- Valid CT Technologist license in North Carolina
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist, including experience within the last year
- ARRT (R) Certification
- BLS Certification
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with GE equipment
- Skills in invasive CT, cardiac imaging, and venipuncture
Work Environment & Schedule
- Dress Code: Black scrubs
- Possible weekend shifts
- Potential rotation to other shifts
- On-call requirement approximately 12 hours per month
