Description
CT Tech - Radiology
Location: Franklin, North Carolina
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Facility Overview
- Critical-access hospital with 30 beds in Radiology/CT unit
- Average patient volume: 71 imaging procedures per day (X-ray/CT combined)
- Equipment includes GE Revolution 128-slice CT, GE digital portables, digital fluoro, and X-ray
- EMR systems: Cerner and Philips Intellispace PACS
- Radiology exam protocols set by radiologists and posted onsite
Unit Information
- Staff: 14-15 techs total
- Day Shift: 5 techs during weekdays (overlapping X-ray/CT coverage), 2 techs on weekends
- Night Shift: 2 techs until 10pm-midnight, then 1 tech until 7am
- Floating Areas: X-ray/CT
- Dress Code: Navy or Black scrubs
Required Qualifications
- Valid CT Technologist license in North Carolina
- Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
- Radiology Technologist experience
- ARRT certification
- BLS certification
- Mandatory training in CT and Radiology

- Routine CT and imaging procedures
- Code Stroke CT imaging with perfusion
