CT Tech (Radiology) - Travel Position

Location: Wichita, Kansas
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36

Unit & Work Environment

• Large, busy CT department averaging approximately 130 CT scans per day
• Level 1 Trauma Center and Primary Stroke Center
• Adult and pediatric patients (pediatric hospital attached)
• 24/7 staffing with lead tech plus multiple techs on dayshift; night shift coverage with rotating weekends
• Work involves outpatient (dayshift), inpatient, and emergency department patient load
• Dress code: Black scrubs (not provided)

Equipment & Technology

• GE CT scanners (4 units), 64 slice and above
• EMR system: Meditech
• PACS system: FUJI Synapse

Typical Procedures

• CT Head, cervical spine, chest, abdomen, pelvis
• Trauma series
• CTA chest, neck, abdomen
• CTA Cardiac studies (Structural Heart program)
• CT Head Stroke protocol

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in Kansas
• ARRT certification in CT
• BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
• De-escalation skills in a healthcare setting

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with GE CT scanners

Shift Details
