Registered Nurse - IV Therapy (Outpatient Oncology Infusion)
Location
- City: Brunswick, Maine
Position Type
- Travel assignment
- Contract length: 26 weeks
- Shift: Monday – Friday, 7:15 AM – 4:15 PM
- Weekly hours: 40 guaranteed
- No weekend or on-call requirements
- No float requirements
Job Description
- Outpatient oncology infusion nurse (not vascular access)
- Care for outpatients receiving chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other infusions
- Patient ratio varies from 1:7 to 1:9 depending on treatment type and acuity
- Unit has 21 infusion chairs with an average daily census of 46 patients
- Use of IV pumps and Epic EMR system
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Maine
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Minimum 2 years of Hematology/Oncology nursing experience
- Hematology/Oncology experience within the last year
- Infusion experience
