Job Opportunity: CT Tech
Location: Seattle, Washington
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night (Sunday-Wednesday, 4x10 hours, 5:00 PM - 5:30 AM)
Hours per Week: 40
Job Description
- Work independently as a CT Technologist on the overnight shift.
- Experience required in acute care settings.
- Must be proficient with GE, PACS, and Siemens imaging equipment.
- Call required.
- Return to Office (RTO) up to 3 days approval for auto offer; no holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Valid CT Technologist license in Washington
- Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
- ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist (R)
- ARRT CT Certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Experience with GE Healthcare imaging equipment
Required Documents & Compliance
- Government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License or State ID).
- Social Security Card (as applicable for I9 verification).
- Background Check within 90 days of start, covering all locations lived/worked in the past 7 years; must be updated annually.
- Education Verification (degree/diploma/transcripts as applicable).
- WA State Patrol Search (WSP/WATCH) within 90 days of start, updated every 2 years for certain facility types.
- Physical Exam within 1 year of start, signed by MD, NP, PA, or DO.
- Immunizations and Health Requirements:
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months, updated annually.
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap vaccine within 10 years (declination accepted).
- MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination or positive titer.
- Hepatitis B vaccination or signed declination.
- Varicella vaccination or positive titer.
- Seasonal Flu vaccine during flu season (declination accepted).
- COVID vaccination record preferred; declinations accepted.
- Drug Screening: 9-panel drug screen within 12 months of start.
- Respirator Safety Clearance (RespSafety) required annually for travel candidates.
- Fit Mask test required annually (travel only).
- Annual completion of regulatory and specialty-specific training modules via LMS.
- Photo for badge (passport style with neutral background).
Additional Requirements
- References: Minimum of 2 references covering at least 1 year of employment in a comparable specialty/setting within the last 3 years.
- Employment Application: Must include at least the last 5 years of employment with month/year format.
- Skills Checklist: Required annually for applicable units.
- Float Policy Acknowledgement: May be required to float to other nearby facilities.
- Epic training modules completion may be required depending on facility.
Notes
- Active compact licenses are honored at this facility.
- Candidates separated from other facilities within the same health system for at least 3 months are eligible for travel contracts.
- No holidays included in the schedule.
- Prior travel experience is not required.
- This position requires working independently overnight.
