Description
Registered Respiratory Therapist
Location: Lewistown, Montana
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 8 weeks
Shift: Three 12-hour shifts per week, including weekends, holidays, and on-call duties
Hours per Week: 36
Job Description
- Provide respiratory care to patients across multiple areas including Acute Care, Obstetrics, and Emergency Room
- Perform basic interpretation of electrocardiograms and identify life-threatening arrhythmias
- Understand indications and contraindications for respiratory care procedures per American Association for Respiratory Care Clinical Practice Guidelines
- Perform advanced cardiac life support (ACLS), pediatric life support, and neonatal life support protocols
- Provide respiratory care assessments and communicate patient condition to physicians
- Perform intubation procedures successfully
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Montana
- Minimum 3 years of Respiratory Therapist experience, including experience within the last year
- Certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Neonatal Advanced Life Support (NALS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Proven ability to perform intubation procedures successfully
