Description

Registered Nurse - Pediatric PACU

Location: Fort Myers, Florida
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 10-hour Day shift (9:00 AM - 7:30 PM)
Hours per Week: 40 hours
Call Requirement: Yes, call required
Floating: Required; travelers may float to other campuses


Job Description

  • Pediatric Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) nursing role
  • Expected to function as core staff within the unit culture
  • Use of Epic EMR system
  • Hard document submission deadline: Monday prior to start (no exceptions)
  • Must submit complete demographic information including address, date of birth, social security number, and RN license number at time of application
  • Cover page and full documentation required with application

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
  • Pediatric nursing experience required
  • BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
  • Degree accreditation must be on profile or candidate must have 5 years of nursing experience
  • Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Florida

Additional Information

  • Prior travel experience preferred but not required
  • Must be willing to float as needed, with travelers given priority for floating assignments
  • Must be within 50 miles of permanent address for submission eligibility
