Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer
Location: Henderson, North Carolina
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details
- Specialty: Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer
- Shift: Varies/Rotates; typically 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM or 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, alternating weekly with another tech
- Weekly Hours: 40 hours guaranteed
- Weekend Hours: On-call rotation for ruling out torsion and ectopic pregnancies
- Call Requirements: Two weeks per month; 5:00 PM - 5:00 AM and 24-hour coverage on Saturdays and Sundays
- Patient Population: All (varied)
- Equipment Used: PB 840/980 ventilators, V60 Bilevel, Vapotherm
- Electronic Health Record (EHR) System: Paragon
- Number of Beds in Unit: 102
Required Qualifications
- Valid Ultrasound Technologist license in North Carolina
- Minimum 1 year of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist within the last year
- Proficient experience as a Breast Sonographer
- Proficient experience as an Ob/Gyn Sonographer, including Maternal-Fetal patients
- Certifications:
- ARRT (S) or ARDMS Certification
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
