Registered Nurse - Endoscopy
Location: Smyrna, Tennessee
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36
Unit Information
- Unit: Endoscopy
- Location: 1st floor, Main Hospital
- Number of Beds: 3 Endoscopy Suites
- Staff per Suite: 2-4
- Patient Ratio: 1:1
- Shift Type: Day shift with call coverage; night shift available
- Equipment Used: Endoscopy, Bronchoscopy
- EMR Systems: Meditech, Provation
Typical Procedures
- EGD (Esophagogastroduodenoscopy)
- Colonoscopy
- PillCam
- SmartPill
- Bravo
- Manometry
- EndoFLIP
- Bronchoscopy (including Super D Navigated Bronchoscopy)
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee
- Minimum 2 years of Endoscopy nursing experience, including experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Prior Endoscopy experience is mandatory
- Fast-moving, team player personality
- Able to work every 5-8 days and weekends on rotation depending on staff coverage

- Dress Code: Royal Blue scrubs
- No floating assignments
- Facility is located about 25 minutes from Downtown Nashville in a family-friendly town with historical sites nearby
