Description
Registered Nurse - Cath Lab
Location: Carbondale, Illinois
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details
- Work schedule: Four 10-hour day shifts (7:00 AM to 5:30 PM) with rotating days off throughout the month
- Call requirement: One weekday per week and one weekend every 4 weeks
- Weekly hours: 36 hours
- Procedures involved: Left heart catheterization, right heart catheterization, peripheral interventions, carotid stents, abdominal aortic aneurysms (AAAs), transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR), and device implants
- Responsibilities include administering moderate sedation, monitoring patients during procedures, and assisting with procedure setup and breakdown
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Illinois
- Cardiac Cath Lab experience with a minimum of 2 years, including experience within the last year
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
