    Job Opportunity: CT Tech

    Location: Fullerton, California
    Employment Type: Travel/Contract
    Contract Length: 13 weeks
    Shift: Evening (4x10 hours), 3:30 PM – 2:00 AM
    Hours per Week: 40


    Job Description

    • Perform CT scanning procedures.
    • Must have experience with Siemens or Phillips CT equipment (strict requirement).
    • Hospital experience preferred.
    • Minimum 2 years of CT tech experience required.
    • First-time travelers accepted only if they have 3+ years of hospital experience.
    • Weekend shifts are required and may exceed every other weekend to meet unit needs.
    • Scheduling preferences may be considered but are not guaranteed.
    • Local radius for assignment is 50 miles.

    Required Qualifications

    Licenses & Certifications

    • Valid CT Technologist license in California

    Experience

    • Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience
    • CT Technologist experience within the last year

    Required Documents & Background Checks

    • Government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License or State ID).
    • Social Security Card (as applicable).
    • E-Verify attestation.
    • Background check within 90 days covering all locations lived/worked in past 7 years; must be updated annually.
    • Education verification (degree/diploma/transcripts as applicable).
    • Employment application covering at least last 5 years.
    • Minimum of 2 professional references covering 1 year of employment in a comparable specialty/setting.
    • Drug screening: 9-panel drug screen within 12 months of start.
    • Physical exam within 1 year of start, signed by MD, NP, PA, or DO.
    • Immunizations and health documents:
      • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months.
      • TDAP vaccine within 10 years (declination accepted).
      • MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination or positive titer.
      • Hepatitis B vaccination or signed declination.
      • Varicella vaccination or positive titer.
      • Seasonal flu vaccine during flu season (declination accepted).
      • COVID vaccination record preferred; declinations accepted.
    • Respirator clearance (RespSafety) required annually for travel candidates.
    • Fit mask test required annually (travel only).
    • State-specific searches and attestations as applicable.

    Additional Requirements

    • Weekend availability is mandatory.
    • May be required to float to other nearby facilities within a reasonable distance.
    • Must complete annual regulatory and facility-specific training modules via assigned LMS.
    • Passport-style badge photo with neutral background required.
    • Epic training modules completion may be required depending on facility assignment.

    Notes

    • Scheduling requests due to additional employment will not be considered.
    • Candidates currently working at another facility with less than a 30-day gap may have some background and drug screen requirements waived or extended.
    • Some state-specific and facility-specific requirements apply, especially for Washington and Oregon placements.
    • All certifications and licenses must be current and verifiable.

    This position is ideal for experienced CT Technologists with Siemens or Phillips CT equipment expertise, who are flexible with weekend shifts and open to travel assignments within California.
